Property Manager
Westbrook Housing is seeking an energetic, positive, full time Property Manager to work with a varied portfolio of senior and family properties, including Low-Income Housing Tax Credit, Project Based Voucher, and Market-rate apartments. The candidate must support our mission to provide opportunities for affordable quality housing to assist individuals and families and to encourage independence within supportive communities.
The Property Manager will be responsible for leasing up a new building in a designated time frame and in compliance with all relevant regulations. They will coordinate all aspects of a resident’s tenancy: tenant selection, lease up, assistance with recertification, collection of rents and managing potential lease violations and evictions. The position includes data entry, preparing correspondence, accurate documentation, the ability to read and process regulations and the ability to work collaboratively with Maintenance, Support Services, and others to provide the best experience possible for our tenants. Strong phone and customer service skills are required.
This position will require regular travel from Westbrook to Biddeford and/or surrounding communities up to several times a week.
A 4-year degree from University or College with a BA or BS in an appropriate discipline and/or 3-5+ years of experience in property management is preferred. COS and current LIHTC certification a plus.
